1. About the National Consumer Credit Protection Act

1.1 The National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP Act) regulates credit provided to individuals:

  • for personal, domestic or household purposes;
  • credit provided to individuals to buy, renovate or improve residential property for investment purposes; or
  • to refinance credit which was made for either of the above purpose

2. Credit Guide

2.1 This Credit Guide is issued by Dynamoney Limited (ACN 613 082 698), Australian credit licence number 521900) (Dynamoney, we, us, our).

2.2 Dynamoney provides the following loans:

These loans may be secured by assets such as vehicles or solar panels.

2.3 This credit guide provides you with important information about the products we provided as a lender which are regulated by the NCCP Act.

3. We are required not to enter into an unsuitable credit contract with you

3.1 As a lender, we are required not to enter into a credit contract or increase the credit limit of your current credit contract, if we assess that the credit contract would be unsuitable for you.

3.1.1 A credit contract will be unsuitable for you if the credit contract does not meet your requirements or objectives; or

3.1.2 it is likely that you will be unable to comply with your financial obligations under the credit contract; or

3.1.3 it is likely that you could only comply with your financial obligations under the credit contract with substantial hardship.

3.2 To ensure that we do not enter into a credit contract that is unsuitable for you, we are required to make reasonable inquiries relating to your financial situation, requirements and objectives, and to take reasonable steps to verify your financial situation.

3.3 It’s very important that the information you provide to us is complete and accurate. This helps us assess your application responsibly and ensure any credit contract or credit limit increase is suitable for your needs and financial situation. Even if we approve your application or offer you a credit limit increase, you should carefully consider whether the product is right for you and whether you will be able to meet your repayment obligations under the contract.

4. Obtaining a copy of the written assessment

4.1 If your application for credit is approved, you can request a written copy of the written assessment by calling 1300 001 420. You can make this request before you enter into the credit contract or accept the increase to your credit limit and for up to 7 years after you enter into the credit contract or accept the increase to your credit limit. However, if your credit contract is not entered into or your credit limit is not increased, then we are not required to provide you with a copy of the written assessment.

4.2 If your request is made within two years of the date the credit contract was entered into or the credit limit was increased, we will provide you with the written assessment within 7 business days of your request, otherwise we will provide you with the written assessment within 21 business days. We will not charge you a fee for providing the written assessment.

5. What if you have a complaint?

5.1 We hope you are delighted with our services. However, should you have any complaints, please contact us. You can do this by:

You should explain the details of your complaint as clearly as you can.  You may do this verbally or in writing.  When we receive a complaint, we will attempt to resolve it promptly.

5.2 In the event that we are unable to resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, you may apply to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). AFCA is an impartial, independent and free external dispute resolution scheme to resolve disputes. Before AFCA can investigate the matter, AFCA will require that you have given us the opportunity to review it first.
