What is the Consumer Data Right?
The Consumer Data Right (CDR) is an Australian Government initiative that gives consumers greater control over their data. Under the CDR, you have the right to:
- access data that an organisation holds about you in connection with a product or service;
- correct your consumer data; and
- authorise that data to be shared securely with Accredited Data Recipients nominated by you.
We’re also required to provide public access to information on specific products we offer.
How CDR is Being Introduced
Dynamoney’s CDR data sharing obligations are being introduced in stages in line with the government’s phased rollout for non-bank lenders. The obligations that apply to us at any given time will depend on our classification under the CDR Rules and the relevant implementation dates.
We will keep this policy updated as additional CDR data sharing obligations apply to us.
